| Introduction | This is a blog about my genealogical interests. I have several families who either lived in Rome, GA or who passed through Rome, GA generally on their way to Texas. The Ware family were some of the pioneers to Rome and so most of the information here has to do with that family and those families that they married into over a span of years from @1820-1900 when most of those who connect to me had left, either to Texas or Higher Ground (Heaven). I did have one person who connects to my Cates family who lived in Rome up to 1945 but this is a step brother to my original Thomas Cates. |
