Introduction	My son, Damon Anthony Moyler, died in prison in 1999. After his death,I came to realize how much his incarceration had overshadowed much of my life, personally and professionally. Some days, dark thoughts of him getting hurt in prison or taking his own life invaded my thoughts. So I understand the pain and hardship of having a son in prison. Each week, you can read my commentaries, learn about resources, and get updates on criminal justice issues. I welcome your comments and questions.
Interests	Reading, of course, on just about any topic that catches my attention or piques my inexhaustible curiosity. Animals-wild/domestic, large and small. Hiking. Dancing. Movies. Dining Out.
Favorite movies	It's a Wonderful Life, Enemy of the State (Will Smith)The Net (Sandra Bullock)Claudine (Diahann Carroll), Brokeback Mountain (Jake Glyenal and Heath Ledger), Jurassic Park, The Color Purple (Whoopi Goldberg), and countless others, too numerous to mention.
Favorite music	Love music by artists of all kinds from Prince to Marley to Luther to Michael to Chris Brown to whoever moves me.
Favorite books	All God's Children, Their Eyes Were Watching God, Stephen King: On Writing...ummm so many!
