Introduction	Athletically, I'm small and slow and was once described by an old coach as "He meant well." I grew up in Detroit, a great city to be from but spent most of my high school days at Assumption in Windsor, Ontario. (You can impress your friends by asking them to name a Canadian city south of the United States. The answer is, of course, Windsor. Look it up.) I went to college at St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and, with the exception of a 4 1/2 month sojourn to St. Petersburg, FL, have been here ever since. I am currently working as a freelance writer/editor. My book about the Twins having a perfect season "162-0" hit the stands in March. The above picture shows me having lunch with a few friends in Oatman, AZ.
