Introduction	I'm a wife, a mother and a grandmother and wouldn't change a thing about any of those. I love my life, God and the people that share it with me most of all. I had my daughter, Emily, create this blog site for me to share recipes. I love to cook. I'm not a fancy cook, just plain old country food that I learned to love at my mother's table. She was one of the best cooks I've ever known, but she didn't really enjoy it like I do. She was a meat and potatoes kind of gal and daddy loved fresh vegetables, go figure. To me the greatest compliment anyone can give me is to ask for the recipe of something I've made. My son thinks I want to feed everyone that comes in our front door and there just might be some truth in that. What better way to make someone feel welcome than to fill their belly!
