| Introduction | I’m a tad bit old-fashioned. I love it when my husband opens my door and pulls out my chair. I eagerly claim the label, homemaker – the idea of designing a beautiful and peaceful living space for my family thrills me. My heart swells when I receive a letter in the mail – extra palpitations for delicate stationary and swirly penmanship. I have a drawer full of quaint aprons that I hardly ever wear, but love to peek at every now and then. I could get lost in an authenticl black and white photo – even if its subjects are strangers to me. I’ve got a streak of modern in me too. I won’t say no to a good spray tan for special occasions. I never carry cash – but who really does anymore? I can’t read a map very well, but I can navigate my way, like a pro, through my Garmin. I'm married to my best friend, Angelo. We have two scrumptious kids, Cammie Mae and Gideon, by whom I am completely smitten. I am a follower of Christ and yearn to live an abundant life in Him (John 10:10). |
