| Introduction | Film industry really blossomed in the 1920s. It had expanding upon the foundations of film from earlier years. Most of US film productions at the start of the decade occurred in Hollywood although some films were still being made in New Jersey. By the mid-20s, movies were becoming big business with a large capital investment. By the end of the 20s decade, there were more than 20 Hollywood studios, and the demand for films increased significantly where on the averaging about 800 film were made each year. |
