| Introduction | Born in the great state of Maine. Descended from John Daggett who arrived here with the Winthrop Fleet in 1630 (on the Pied Cow). Grew up in western Massachusetts (Monterey [the Berkshires], then Williamsburg). USN veteran (USS Forrestal 1976). Progressive Liberal on [most] issues. I now blog (when my brain allows it) about computers and the Internet, security, software, science, politics, media, and the daily variety show called my life. You know, some of the things roaming around [Inside Tom's Brain]. Diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2022, went through chemo, then had a stroke (so no surgery), then found out my heart is too weak for surgery anyway. And that's where I am for now... |
