| Introduction | I have been in the Trucking business for 25 years with my brothers and family. I have also been involved in management for the financial and organizational end of the business. I worked for Viking Freight System that was bought out by Fed Ex, who are the most non-caring group of thugs, that do whatever they can to keep your pay and benefits down, in order to keep managements bonus's up, exactly like the people who pay us. I watched how big companies erode the security of the individual employee by not allowing them to better position themselves, in order to hold the line and recieve the benefits and job security due him. It is the same situation in the owner operator end of the business, because of un-fit Dishonest Brokers & Contractors, that have no recourse against them because their is no unity. I believe with the necessary organization and unity as a group, we will be very stong and as one. The first way to undermine someones security is to isolate him and keep him un-imformed but, to raise your level of security you align yourself with an imformed group of similar people who share your same concerns, that is where we are. Lets due this for our familys.... |
