| Introduction | Dr. Diego Delgado is a transplant cardiologist at University Health Network and an Associate Professor of the Division of Cardiology and Transplant, at the University of Toronto. He is the Medical Director of the Inpatient Cardiac Service and the Site Director of the Division of Cardiology at the Toronto General Hospital. Dr. Delgado is the past-chair of the Canadian Cardiac Transplant Group. He is the President of the InterAmerican Society of Cardiology. His interests are the immunologic aspects of advanced heart failure and transplantation. He is the author of over 100 peer reviewed publications in advanced heart failure therapies. |
