You have to dig a hole to China. Where do you start?
I'm thinking south-eastern Mongolia south of Zamyn-Uud. It seems to be the only country a westerner can visit with reasonable ease to share a border with China that's accessible without world class mountain climbing skills, and there's even a road almost all the way there. The job could be done with one person and a shovel.
