| Introduction | I have been competing in obedience since the early 90's. I have trained and competed with Border Collies, Jack Russell Terrier and Golden Retrievers. I am presently training a Norwegian Buhund, Gali that is 8 years old and a young Border Collie, Ribbon. I have competed in flyball, agility and other dog sports, but I always come back to obedience. It is my first love. I have been lucky enough to have had quite a bit of success with my dogs. In 1998 my first Border Collie, Megan was the #1 obedience dog in Canada (all breeds). Then is 2005 my Golden, Presto was the #1 obedience dog in Canada (all breeds). There were many, many other successes along the way and since that time. The ones that don't show up in statistics are the ones I remember most fondly or have had the most impact on me. |
