| Introduction | I am my Dad's only daughter! In July 2010 my Dad suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke and was in a coma for weeks. I decided I wanted to write about the experiences and feelings of our family in regards to my Dad's health. I am honored by your visit to my blog and hope I can write things that will be helpful to read. I love and appreciate comments! |

| Favorite movies | Dad and I love love love "What About Bob". Aside from Bob's terrets syndrome, we think its pretty perfect for laughs and quotes. |
| Favorite music | We all love good music! I love Frank Sinatra, The Beatles (the early stuff!), blue grass, jazz, and classical. I gained a lot of those loves from my Dad! |
| Favorite books | My Dad loves WWI and WWII books and I have really enjoyed sitting down and listening to what he has learned. Now that he can't read or recall information very well at all, we enjoy just making our own "facts" up. Hence, we are practically experts in every field of study. A book I highly recommend: "Tramp for the Lord" by Corrie ten Boom. Excellent collection of short stories by a concentration camp survivor. It is beautiful and uplifting! |
