| Introduction | Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin, Friend, lover of God, America, the Free-Market system, fiscal responsibility, honesty, integrity, photography, beautiful things and kind people. I have lived a long time and have lived in many different places, something for which I am grateful to my husband, who was in the Air Force for the first eight years of our marriage. You get to know a place much more deeply when you live there. An only child, I value all my relationships probably more than most people who have siblings: my cousins are like siblings, and my friends are like family. I would do anything for them. I also have three children and three grandchildren, all of whom are my greatest loves, along with my husband of over 50 years. I have been blessed many times over. |
| Interests | I love reading, and usually have two or three books going at once, depending on where I am in my house. Mystery novels are in the bedroom, non-fiction (history or political) are in the living room, magazines (financial and photographic) are in the bathrooms, and other random books are in bookcases on every level. Since retiring from teaching, I have been able to focus on another love, photography, and love to shoot casual events like family reunions, birthday parties and other celebrations. |
