| Introduction | Simply put, I am a person who loves video games. I have been immersed in this industry since I was a young boy playing with my Atari 2600 (technically I had a ColecoVision with the Atari adapter, but that's just splitting hairs). I have owned almost every major system released on the market here in the USA and have used them to beat at least 300 games, most of which from pre-PS1 systems. My tastes in games are wide. Heck, I even like board games, but since this site isn't Board Game Sage let me talk a bit more on my favorite types of video game. I like to say that I will play AND enjoy any AAA title and while that's true, I tend to gravitate towards games that offer a well defined narrative and atmosphere. Given a choice, I'd pick Mass Effect over Madden any day of the week. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy sports games as well, but a good story is what I'm interested in. |
