Introduction	MacKay Memorial Hospital, founded in 1880, has played a leading role in the development of medical toxicology in Taiwan. Its expertise includes the management of severe poisoning, extracorporeal toxin removal, pesticide poisoning, venomous snakebites, Hymenoptera envenomation, carbon monoxide poisoning, emerging drugs of abuse, and clinical toxicology research and education. The Poison Center was established in July 2017 under the leadership of President Wen-Han Chang. In December 2019, its first director, Dr. Yu-Jang Su, launched the Poison Center website, which has since been updated monthly with the latest toxicology and poisoning information based primarily on literature indexed in the National Library of Medicine’s PubMed database. In July 2022, the Division of Toxicology was formally established within the Department of Emergency Medicine. The website continues to provide updated toxicology knowledge and highlights scholarly publications from the Division of Toxicology in international peer-reviewed journals.
