| Introduction | I grew up in Downers Grove, Illinois, a small town in the suburbs of Chicago where I met, fell in love, and married my best friend. 35 years later we have three grown boys; the oldest are twins and are married to wonderful loving women. Our youngest is finishing his Engineering Degree at FSU, and we are so proud of each of them, and their place in this world. I found my writers voice, and heard His voice later in my life. I am a Synod Deacon in the Florida/Bahamas Synod serving with Pastor Jim Young at Ascension in Ocala, Florida, and my favorite day of the week is Sunday because I LOVE worship. I also have several published poems, and if I can ever be still long enough to listen to my muse, I would like to continue writing. |
