In middle school I would have friends spend the night and I would make them listen to the oldies station and call in for "All Request Saturday Night". I knew the words to every songs from 1950-1988 but couldn't name a single current song to save my life. I'm like the Patent Office who wanted to close its doors in 1899 because they figured everything had already been invented--all the music I like has already been recorded, who needs more? |
