| Introduction | At the age of 17 Mikey started his journey in the Beauty industry. Studying under some of Salt Lake Cities best. After apprenticing under Paul Chance, Fumi Eguchi, and Tyson Daniels. He learned that the industry that was new to him was opening doors that he never thought were possible. Towards the end of his apprenticeship he moved to Houston Texas where he started to study under the TONI&GUY Artistic Team. Now Mikey is one of few TONI&GUY Educators nationwide. Mikey has also recently been given the opportunity to open his own salon Kilted Coiffeur in Houston Texas in May 2010 Mikey also is a freelance Session Stylist. He submits photos annually to the TONI&GUY Photographic Awards and the North American Hairdressing Awards where he is soon to be given one of these prestigious awards. Being behind the chair is where his motivation, diligence, perfection, creativity, and artistry begins!!! |
