| Introduction | I write stories for children of all age groups - from concept books and rebus books for the little ones to picture stories for beginners and novels for the early teens. I also rewrite folktales and mythology for young and old. I also do educational materials. One of my abiding interests has been the learning, application and teaching of what I believe to be eternal values and ethics. |
| Interests | Social systems, cultural roots, traditions and values - I love discovering and studying about people, especially in the context of their history and geography. The arts and crafts, music, festivals, religions, scriptures, philosophy, all kinds of other books - are a natural corollory. Nature and the environment is another great passion - though a passion that does not get indulged much, no thanks to a rushed city life. |
| Favorite Music | Mostly Indian classical music, both Hindustani and Carnatic. However I enjoy all music that is a seamless fusion of melody, lyrics and rhythm - all three being equally important to me. |
