| Introduction | My name is Marisela Mendoza. I am a stay-at-home mom and sociologist. After reading an article in the American Sociological Association's newsletter, Footnotes, I became inspired to blog sociology. Sociologist, Phillip Cohen asked, "Should Every Sociologist Blog?" And my response was, this sociology will try. This blog is about our society and the issues that surround us.
