| Introduction | At the age of 35 (I am now 38) I found myself in the position of homemaker. After working since I was 19 this was a nice, but difficult adjustment as I have more time on my hands and yet somehow less than I have ever had. This blog grew out of the need to fill those empty hours. When not finding ways to annoy my four offspring (they say it's nagging I say it's character building) or playing with our two dogs (a Corgi of Evil, yes I've stolen this from Stephen King because I have determined all Corgis are evil, moreso because they use their cuteness against us making us overlook their evil side and a Black Lab/hound mix), four cats (all side of the road rescues) and two rabbits or watching my husband fiddle with his 3d printer (this is actually more amusing than it sounds) I can be found reading, watching anime/k-dramas, or playing vids, specifically JRPGs. |

| Favorite Movies | Anything made by Miyazaki, the Ip Man series, the Ongbok series (except the first one), most Disney animated films. I actually don't like movies that much so this is pretty much the extent of this list. |
| Favorite Music | Linkin Park, SOAD, Britney Spears (Ah I bet that through you all for a loop), international heavy metal. Really I just like music though outside of country I can't think of a genre I don't listen to. |
| Favorite Books | In no particular order: The Matthew Bartholomew Chronicles, LOTR, The Hobbit, The Rook Duology, GOT, Pendergast series, Codex Alera series, Frankenstein, Tale of the Otori, Tale of the Shikanko, Harold and the Purple Crayon, The Monster at the End of this Book, The Bone Ships..I could go on literally for days here. |
When you hesitate before hitting snooze on your alarm clock, are you being lazy?
I set my alarm half an hour earlier than I actually need to be up so I still have the satisfaction of hitting the snooze button but I also do not oversleep, so I guess the short answer is no.
