Introduction	I am a dancer, a writer, a geek, and an Orthodox Christian. Everything else pretty much follows from that. I have been trained in depth psychology, and am currently in the midst of a few book projects. I also teach.

Favorite movies	Star Wars, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Star Trek movies (most of them), 300, Gladiator, King Arthur, The 13th Warrior, The Fifth Element, Hero, The Last Samurai, The Twilight Samurai, Sanjuro, Whale Rider, Harry Potter movies, The Secret of Roan Inish, Night Shyamalan films, Stranger Than Fiction, L.A. Story....
Favorite music	I'm a dancer, and dance for me is a visceral, embodied dialogue with music. I just love music in general, but I love rock and roll, swing music, some pop music, alternative, world music, classical.... Pretty much anything except country and rap, and even then there are a couple of stunning exceptions.
Favorite books	The "I, Robot" stories by Isaac Asimov; The Lord of the Rings; Dragonlance novels; Wolf Totem; Memories, Dreams, Reflections by Carl Jung; Mercy Thompson novels; lots of sci fi and fantasy.
