Introduction	I understand deeply that "it's not about me." Who I am is more about "the you and the me." When I give of myself, I discover your magnificence and connect with you on a genuine level. It is that connection that I seek every day. I spent many years as a broadcast journalist in Chicago radio under the name of Mary Anne Meyers. Although my primary focus was news anchoring, I had a lot of fun developing and hosting the children's read along show "Let's Read." That's because people told me that it made a difference in the lives of their children. Writing and anchoring morning news was interesting. I'm happy now to focus on those who work to fix the world rather than those who break it.
