| Introduction | I consider myself an artist, painting mostly in oil paints. But more important to me is that I am a mother and grandmother who is VERY CONCERNED about the education of our children. I believe we all need to do what we can to support the education of our children (they ARE our future).I visit schools and talk with children, and I can see first hand that they need more interaction with adults. They need to learn from our experiences in life as well as just letting them know they are important and CAN enjoy learning things that will help them be what ever they want to be.That is why I am creating a series of educational coloring books. I started with U.S.Geography.Many parents do not teach their children about the United states because they don't know themselves. So I invite everyone to come along with me as I visit and research each state and create coloring books.I think the more we learn what a beautiful and interesting country we live in we will regain our pride in living in America. |
