| Introduction | Yadira began her training over 10 years ago in her hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico, and was influenced by the color and culture of her city. She later moved to the U.S. where she continued her studies with some of the most prominent artists in the country such as, Leon Parson, Gerald Griffin, Hala Wittwer, Scott Franson, Wade Huntsman, and Sally Ellis. Yadira attended Brigham Young University- Idaho where she studied Art, with emphasis in illustration and fine art. She was awarded a full scholarship, recognition for outstanding scholastic achievement. Yadira’s passion for art along with her fresh contemporary style—a fusion of Mexican muralism with realism—has caused her to be a much sought after artist. Yadira has a strong passion for experimenting with size and color. Recently residing in Roseville, Ca she felt inspired by the beauty of local gardens to create her Flores de Primavera series.
