Introduction I'm a writer and college teacher. I have an MFA in creative writing (fiction) from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and an MA in English from the University of Maine. I teach English at Penn State Harrisburg and have previously taught as an adjunct at a community college. I've been shifting more toward nonfiction in the past few years, but I still love fiction and sometimes dabble in poetry, too. I'm picking this blog back up after five years of inactivity. I intend to share some thoughts on what I'm working on, what I'm struggling with, and what I hope to achieve with my writing. It would be great if this blog is a way to connect with other writers. When I wrote it before, I had never heard of Twitter, so maybe the new technology will make it easier to connect. I hope so!
