| Introduction | Hello, I am a 53 year old wife, mother, grandmother and homeschooling mom. I am married to my very loving and quiet husband, Donnie for 33 years this August. Our children are 13 years apart with our daughter, Anna, being the eldest. I am currently home educating our 16 year old son, Seth. I have visions of surburban homesteading floating around in my head. My interests are domestic. I am learning to knit and crochet. I love making quilt tops, but I do not care for the actual quilting part. I also love to read uplifting and informative books, garden, can, freeze or dehydrate the produce. Weeding is not a favorite pasttime of mine, but it is neccessary. Someday, I would like to learn how to make my own soap; beekeeping; toothbrush rug making and many other skills which are being lost. My best love is God, His Son Jesus, His Word and spending time in prayer with His Holy Spirit. Praise His Name. |

| Favorite movies | The Nativity Story, Arranged, Loving Leah (many of the Hallmarks) Babetts' Feast, Jane Austen movies, Little Dorrit, Enchanted April, The Christmas Carol--I am very particular with my movies, yet the list is endless. |
| Favorite music | I love hymns and some praise music, folk music, Shapenotes, some classical music-Baroque for one. I love instrumentals like harpsicord, dulcimer, bagpipe, penny whistles, etc. |
| Favorite books | The Bible is on the top of my list. Books by Jane Austen, Martha Finley, Beverly Lewis, Wanda Brunstetter, Francine Rivers, some by Lynn Austin, Martha Peace, Emilie Barnes, Jean Byler; Vision Forum publications-oh, the list is definitely endless in this catagory. |
