| Introduction | I am a southern Illinois native who has been in Colorado for over 25 years. Have always enjoyed hiking and a little recreational biking. Tried to run now and then, but breathing issues always held me back. Spring of 2010 I decided I wanted to run the local Boulder Bolder 10K (with 50,000+ of my closest friends). It is an event and I wanted to experience it. Then I decided to do more and signed up for my first 1/2 and full marathons. Both will be at age 50. I am not fast, but feeling younger than ever. Love reading all the running blogs, inspirational and comforting all wrapping up into one. Thanks!! |
