| Introduction | I have just retired from Rolls Royce after 35 years 32 of which I was a shop steward I am now looking forward to spending more time fishing. I have always had an interest in politics and the trade union movement. In the eighties I started to run trips to the River Bann in Northern Ireland these trips in assocation with Veals tackle Bristol. The saying bag up with Bazeley was born and believe me that is what happened over a 5 year period all those that came on these outing did bag up in one 5 hour match 30 anglers weighed in over 1 ton of Roach yes 1 Ton of roach on the Bann, unfortunately those days have long gone. I still hold a great deal of love of fishing in Ireland but for the past 2 years I have been visiting white acres very nice there but the crack not the same. |
