Introduction	I'm a high school English teacher and recovering intellectual snob. Three years ago, I reluctantly began teaching creative writing, totally convinced that I couldn't inspire anyone to write since I didn't have confidence in my own writing ability. Then the unexpected happened: I fell in love with writing creatively and with teaching the process to teens.
Interests	Writing non-fiction and YA fiction, reading/watching TV and movies for inspiration, researching questions of interest (there's always something I want to know more about)
