| Introduction | Welcome to My Journey I started this blog over a decade ago when I went through menopaus, started my PhD and became a grandmother. After years away, I'm back, and I have so much more to share. Since those early posts, life has taken me on an incredible journey. I'm now a PhD researcher specializing in health promotion/healthy aging. My passion for active living has only deepened. I've made strength training a regular part of my routine, not just for myself, but to understand firsthand what I recommend to others. Through my research and personal experience, I've learned that how we age isn't just about the years we accumulate but about the choices we make every day. This blog is where science meets real life. I'm here to motivate and educate people in their 50s, 60s, and beyond about the differences between healthy and unhealthy aging. I'll share evidence-based research, practical fitness strategies, and honest stories from my own journey as an active grandmother. Whether you're navigating your aging journey, wondering if it's too late to start exercising, or simply looking for inspiration to stay vibrant and strong, you're in the right place. Let's redefine what age means together. |
