| Introduction | Challenge, inspiration, creation. Those were the things I needed. I had a cushy cooperate job, a healthy income, beautiful home and still have a wonderful husband. We lived in Colorful Colorado! We needed something different and we needed it now. In June of 2009 we came to Kauai to celebrate 10 years of marriage and fell in love with the island. Six months later we were living in Kauai. This blog started out as a way to journal this time in our lives. Then it turned into a forum to keep friends updated and my folks free from worry. We are inspired by the beauty of Kauai; it surrounds us everyday. The blog has turned into a conversation about dreams, courage, inspiration, growth and creation. With the underlying question; can you give up everything and start over to follow your bliss? Olu'olu, join the conversation! Olu'olu pronounced: oh-lew-oh-lew is "please" in Hawaiian. Hawaiian is a poetic language and words have several meanings. Olu'olu also means nice, pleasant and gracious. |
