Introduction Andrew W. Nunn is a photographer who is primarily focused on art photography. His direct focus, however is clear through his action and concert photography. He often shifts into video and occasionally stop motion films. His journey into photography began at Dodge City High School with a Minolta camera and a roll of Ilford 400 Black and White film, in an art photography class. Since then he has had the honor and opportunity of shooting as a photojournalist for the Stars and Stripes newspaper, several shots of professional BMX riders and being the photographer for 2nd Platoon, A Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment through two deployments. He is currently honing and sharpening his skills in photography at the Art Institute of Austin as a Photography major, with plans to seek his MA in photojournalism at the University of Texas at Austin. Eventually he would like to open his own photo studio, work for a large-named newspaper, do freelance work and keep art as his very essence.
