About me

Gender FEMALE
Location WA, United States
Introduction I have been in a cancer battle for over 3 years & my odds are not favorable. Therefore, I quit my job 1 1/2 years ago to cram as much living as possible in whatever time God blesses me with. My goals in life have changed & I've never been happier:) I spend a lot of time enjoying my family, I smile at strangers, and I enjoy sharing Christ's love with anyone who wants to listen. UPDATE: 3/08...Apparently God isn't done with me yet!!! After 3 major surgeries & 2 years of chemo, my cancer is currently in remission:) Although I only have a 20% chance that it won't return, I'm praising God that He is giving me some additional time to enjoy my adorable grandkiddies and share His love with those in need. May His will be done!
Interests Spoiling my 3 darling grandchildren; fun times with family & friends; Creating cards; attending the theatre; traveling; enjoying my life & bringing happiness to everyone I meet.
Favorite Movies Sooooo many. Some current ones I've enjoyed are Wild Hogs; Little Miss Sunshine; and The Illusionist. I enjoy our home theatre and love spending an evening with my husband watching movies while pigging out on my favorite snacks. (Garrett's cheesecorn is my fav, but at around $50.00 a tub, I only order it occasionally. I was introduced to it on Oprah's Favorite Things show. If I was rich, like Oprah, I'd have it delivered once a week:) Most of the time I just settle for regular popcorn, icecream, and chocolate.
Favorite Music The Oldies...50's, 60's, and early 70's. Love Broadway music & American Idol!
Favorite Books The Bible; poetry; and numerous others. I LOVE the library & have always been a bookworm. My chemo makes me so dizzy that I listen to audiobooks since it's difficult to read now.

Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?

It would be in a garden surrounded by flowers. I'd be hugging my 3 little grandchildren and my Maltese, Harley. We would all be wearing Mickey Mouse Ears:) It would commemorate the love & laughter that my grandchildren bring to me.
