| Introduction | We are located at 2348 SE Ankeny in inner SE Portland. Only minutes from downtown hotels. We are one block south off Burnside on the corner of 24th. A corner gathering spot serving Modern American favorites with a global flair. Chef Eugen prepares organic and local ingredients when available, with a great many dishes made in-house. During summer months some of our produce namely Arugula, herbs and swiss chard come from our own Organic garden located behind the premises. Traditional favorites are served such as hamburgers, Mac n Cheese, house made sausages and unique Fondue choices, but it doesn’t end there. There are many options for vegetarians and gluten free diets. For brunch, Kaiserschmarrn, which was originally prepared for the Kaiser, can be enjoyed along with our gluten free roasted yam waffle with ground clove served with maple or house made ginger syrup. Another healthy and delicious option is our vegan rice flour waffle served with agave lavender syrup. Join us for Brunch on Saturday & Sunday mornings starting from 9:30-2:30pm.
