| Introduction | Just planning to publish some things on the web :) Ingrid van den Brand was born in Utrecht, the Netherlands. I was brought up in a creative environment, and started my independent graphic design studio in 1990. Designed for CD’s, magazines, paperware, prints for clothing and started designing for homefashion in 2005. Since than I designed amongst others: wallpapers, tableware, cutlery, rugs, bed linen, napkins, paper products like disposables, giftware, diaries, cards, etc. My designs are sold all over the world. She also took up her camera again, and won prizes with her photography. My inspiration comes from the world around me, nature, flowers, colors, shapes, history, people, raw materials, objects, and it could be a little thing that triggers my mind to go and create a design. Or it could start a series of images in my head that I would like to catch on photo. My designs range from sweet and lovely, to over the top and on other times bold and graphic. I just want to make this world just a tiny bit happier, more beautiful or funnier. |
