| Introduction | Florence Nightingale I am not. I'm not even a decent Florence Henderson or Florence from The Jeffersons. I am a Nurse and Mom who tries to do an above average job at both, while appreciating the wit and wisdom around me, as well as the absurdity. I used to be a hottie, but not so much these days. I love food! Cooking is a joy for me, and I love to find both retro and modern recipes. I love to talk about my job, but sometimes I need to chat about food too. I enjoy my wine and my rum, but not at the same time. I have the occasional hot, torrid love affair with my husband (when we get to actually see each other). I believe in a Higher Power who has a great sense of humor. I have recently relocated to South Florida, a whole new world, if not a whole new universe. I am honored and thankful that you are willing to read my randomness.
