| Introduction | began her love of art in elementary school when she was obsessed with horses and could draw nothing else. A college education at Syracuse University in Illustration and English and Textual Studies opened up her subject matter. Since then Meredith has pursued graduate study focusing on nineteenth-century art and literature and art librarianship.
