| Introduction | Welcome! I'm Betsy and this is my little corner of the world. I'm a wife and mother of three, and I'm happiest when I'm at home with my family. I love baking, sewing, embroidery, antiquing and reading. I subscribe to more magazines than I probably should, but it makes me happy to find them all rolled up in the mailbox, just waiting for me to put on the tea kettle and pull out the chocolate. I believe in living a simple life and being content in all things. Some days that's a struggle, but it's a goal worth striving for. I hope you'll join me in my journey! |

| Favorite Books | Jan Karon's Mitford series, Philip Gulley's Harmony series (set right here in Indiana!), good Amish fiction, any book on the topic of living a simple life, EllynAnne Geisel's The Kitchen Linens Book and The Apron Book, Irene Rawling's The Clothesline and Sisters on the Fly, MaryJane Butters' Ideabook-Cookbook-Lifebook and MaryJane's Outpost, Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh, and almost any vintage cookbook or children's book I can get my hands on! |
