Introduction	The backdrop of my Eden is a suburban golf course community that sits at the foot of the Catoctin Mountains, 38 miles northwest of Washington, D.C. It is a stark contrast to the backdrop of my formative years in the desert city of El Paso, Texas.I am a 40-plus-year-old divorced, college-educated Mexican-American woman. My entire career as a Television journalist took place in the high-powered city of Washington, D.C. where, for 17 years, I covered the tragedies of ordinary people, the glamour of celebrities, the infidelities of presidents and politician's diplomatic justifications for war. I put that career on hold when I moved to the suburbs with my then-husband. I soon became pregnant and gave birth, ten weeks early to an adorable 3-pound baby boy. I am now, a stay-at-home mom, who recently began wading into the world of blogging, dating again, and finding my life’s comfort zone.
