| Introduction | I came to UAF in 2001 from Service High School in Anchorage and fell in love with the Fairbanks community. In 2005 I earned my BA in foreign languages (German and Japanese) from UAF and then moved to Orlando, FL for a year while my husband finished his degree. In August 2006 I eagerly returned to Fairbanks with my husband and two cats, Nanook and Denali. I love Fairbanks winters and prefer the cooler climate of Fairbanks over the heat and humidity of Orlando. During the summer the my husband and I enjoy roller-blading, hiking and camping. |
