| Introduction | I've been a diabetic since the age of 14. I have traveled extensively and never let my diabetes get in the way of anything I wanted to do.....of course that take some planning, but it is very achievable for anyone who wants to do it. After 15 years of fairly good control, I started to fall off a cliff, and my HA1C tests were relatively astronomical. I ended up changing to a Medtronic Minimed 522 insulin pump and my tests have dramatically improved. I hope I can help people answer questions about whether or not a pump is right for them, or dealing with Type 1 diabetes, itself. |
