Introduction	In the summer of 2011, I took time off from my investment banking job in Hong Kong to volunteer at the Shine Academy in Kibera, the largest slum in Kenya. While teaching the kids at the school, I learnt many lessons myself along the way. This blog is an attempt to document some of them and to help raise awareness for the amazing work that is done by the Impoverished Children Project.
