Introduction	Kidz Power was started in April 2010 by two ordinary people trying to make a difference. Ayesha van Rensburg is a 5th Dan Karate instructor and self-defence expert with over 15 years experience with children. Sue Fortina is a businesswoman with an interest in causes and effects of behavioural disorders. A positive self image is fundamental to psychological health. The founders have a vision of helping abused children to develop and recover positive self esteem, using self-defence as a means. The 4 cornerstones of the Kidz Power programme are: • Character • Sincerity • Effort • Respect
