| Introduction | My name is Sarah Giesbrecht Sherman and I am now 49 years old. Some women don't like to tell their age, I have no problem with it. I wouldn't be who I am today if I hadn't lived through my experiences and gained the wisdom I now have. I have three blogs, one dedicated to my writing/poetry, another to my journey through life and the third to promote and share my upcoming Giesbrecht family reunion in 2015. I invite you to read through the blog started a long time ago in May 2010... No it is not a great deal of time based on days or months, but it is an incredible amount of time based on my growth and new life. This year I released a new book "Poems from the Heart and Hearth" on some of my life time experiences and in the spring of 2015 I plan to release a book of short stories. I am the biological mother of two children that I have raised their whole lives. One is attending post secondary school in Vancouver and the second is 12 turning 17.
