Introduction	I'm a lawyer based in Washington, DC. I've been a feminist as long as I can remember, and I've been vegan since 2008. My feminism eventually led me to veganism because I came to realize that the reproductive oppression of other species and the hierarchy inherent in exploiting other species were feminist issues. I started this blog to try to help others to make those connections and to discuss issues that have a feminist-speciesist or a speciesist-social justice frame that's not being addressed.
