| Introduction | Jennifer Villalobos is a Summer 2016 Fellow for The Office of Minority Health (OMH) through its Youth Health Equity Model of Practice (YHEMOP). As an Emerging Health Professional (EHP), Jennifer has been placed with a Health Equity Program Specialist from the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare. With this placement, she has been assigned to explore and capture health equity stories from District 10 public health professionals who are near to retiring or are already retired. The purpose for this project is to archive and capture captivating health equity stories before they get lost. Upcoming public health professionals, college students and other audiences can benefit from this tool in order to gain insight and knowledge from previous public health work and health equity history. Jennifer will be starting graduate school this Fall 2016 at the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities for their Master of Science in Health Services Research, Policy and Administration. |
