| Introduction | Mlle. Rose is a unique multi-tonal bud, not yet fully bloomed, yet always sporting light musky undertones...a true sensory delight! However, not necessarily the kind of musk that attracts men with the bat of eyelashes, but rather the kind of musk that sets her apart from your everyday, boring, Home Depot sale rack Knockout Rose that every one loves and that can grow whenever and for anyone. No, unlike the buy one get one free flowers, she is precarious and too whimsical to flourish amongst cheap soil with a pretty superficial layer of pseudo-intellectual, self-important, hip new fertilizer beads which are not actually full of life-giving nutrients, but sadly just hot air...and Oh! the parasites that flourish there! Happily though, her wildlife family and friends are her saving grace which bring out a more beautiful array of colors through her petals than the store-bought, over-worked manure most flora & fauna live off of could ever hope to stir from her. Yes, the stars of this blog are the trees that shade and protect her, the flowers that brighten her days and nights, and the animals that keep the circle of life in Le Fleur Patch fresh and interesting! |
