| Introduction | In addition to having a passion for fitness (possessing two national fitness certifications), alternative healing and Reiki, I also have a major passion for food! I was born in San Diego and reared in Santa Ana and Garden Grove in a hispanic family of seven children and at times had the St. Vincent DePaul Society deliver food baskets to our door. Due to my wonderful husband and his passion for fine food and wines, I have had the fortunate experience of dining at some of the finest restaurants in the world... Louis XV, Monaco; Plaza Athenee, Paris; Les Crayeres, Reims; La Cote d'Or, Saulieu; Auberge du Pere Bise, Lake Annecy; Lasserre, Paris; Taillevent, Paris; Hotel Cipriani, Venice; Claridges, London, Joel Robuchon, Las Vegas to name a handful. Bottom Line: Trust my palate my friends, it's trained. |
| Interests | Cooking multi-course meals at home for friends, sharing meals and vacations with family, UFC & martial arts, fine food and wine, fitness and exercise, novels on the history of the English monarchy, mountain and road biking, hiking in serene, beautiful areas, non-profit charity work, helping others, watching good movies from On Demand in the comfort of my chaise lounge, biking on a remote country road then an evening savoring a wonderful meal and a great bottle of wine and NAPS (naps are healthy)! |

When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?
Nope...but I wonder if a little sharky is lurking around the corner to nibble at my toes or chomp on my tootsies. Yikes!
