| Introduction | SSU stands for ‘Searching and Service in Unity’. Through a series of development activities, it offers youngsters help in whatever they are searching for: values, faith in God, a capacity to make friends or even a deeper awareness of themselves. Service is our primary goal. We come from different cultures and backgrounds and celebrate our unity in diversity in various ways. We conduct annually, 2 camps (one in Summer and the other in Winter). Besides this, there is a main fund raiser, the annual play (round about September). This year, we staged ‘TWO BY TWO’ in aid of ‘Shiv Ganga’. The SSU was founded by Cyril SJ in 1971, who wanted to start a youth group open to students and working youngsters from all backgrounds. This year, we complete 40 years of existence. The SSU meets twice a week throughout the year:THURSDAYS 7pm, St. Xavier’s Parish Hall for personality development related activities. On SUNDAYS, 6.30pm for a session of Krazy Games.
